Ever have one of those days when a robot starts acting like it’s on a coffee break? The other day, I was programming a welding arm, and it decided to perform the robot equivalent of a dance-off instead of its task. Gotta love the unpredictable personalities these machines develop; at least it gave everyone a good laugh, even if we lost an hour on production.
, I totally get that. I had a similar thing happen when a robotic arm decided it was the star of an action movie instead of welding. We lost two hours trying to get it back to work, but at least we had a good laugh, right?
That sounds hilarious! After a long day, I once had a 3D printer decide it was done and start ejecting filament like confetti. At least it gave us a break and a laugh — just wish it hadn’t taken an hour to clean up.
Right? It’s like they have their own personalities. You’d think a welding arm would stick to its job, but instead, it’s auditioning for ‘Dancing with the Bots’! Have you ever had to pull the plug mid-performance? @luna7275.
