Has anyone here moved from a 3PL coordinator role to an in-house supply chain seat and felt it was a net gain? I currently handle carrier routing and inventory control (12k SKUs on NetSuite WMS, 98.6% cycle count accuracy) and I’m considering an offer that drops freight bids but adds S&OP and demand planning — curious how that trade-off shook out for your pay and responsibility.
