Struggling with CNC Calibration

I’ve been having some issues with the calibration on our CNC machine lately. The parts aren’t coming out to spec, and I suspect it might be an alignment issue. Has anyone experienced something similar and have tips for troubleshooting? I’ve got a dial indicator and some time this weekend to dive into it.

, I’ve been there! It might help to double-check the machine’s homing position first… Misalignment often comes from that — align your dial indicator and see if it’s consistent across the key points.

It sounds like a classic case of CNC calibration drama! Have you tried running a test piece after adjusting the alignment to see if it improves? That really helps isolate the issue — sometimes it’s just a small tweak that makes all the difference. @carlson89, what do you think?
