We just wrapped a 3-week pilot on a 4-station assembly cell using a virtualized runtime on an IPC, cut changeover from 18 to 14 minutes and removed one Profinet gateway; curious if others are seeing similar wins or hidden headaches.

Pinning the runtime to isolated cores and enabling PTP on the IPC NICs flattened scan variance and let us drop a PN/PN coupler. Were you on Win10 IoT or an RT Linux image, and did you leave safety on a separate PLC?
