Maximizing CNC Tool Life and Efficiency

I’ve been running my Haas VF2 for the last six months and wanted to share some insights on tool wear and efficiency. Keeping the spindle speed around 8000 RPM seems to extend tool life significantly, and I’ve noticed my cycle times have decreased as well. I’m curious if anyone has tried different speeds or feeds that yielded even better results?

I’ve also found that experimenting with your feed rates can lead to surprising improvements. Running a bit faster might not only reduce cycle times but also keep you from feeling like you’re stuck in a slow-motion movie! Have you tried adjusting your tools’ feeds yet?
