I’ve been reflecting on the importance of keeping our project timelines in check, especially when it comes to adhering to regulations and ensuring safety on site. Just last week, we had to adjust our schedule because of an unexpected inspection which reminded me how crucial it’s to have contingencies in place. How do you guys manage to stay on track while also prioritizing accident prevention?
It’s like trying to juggle while riding a unicycle — one slip and it all goes sideways! We set up a buffer week at the end of major phases just in case something pops up, like surprise inspections. It gives us a little breathing room, but adapting on the fly is still key.
I’ve found that using project management software really helps keep everything organized. It lets us shift priorities on the fly while tracking deadlines, but I also believe having regular team check-ins is key to catch any potential roadblocks early. What tools do you find helpful?
