Keep an eye on lift operator training

Just wanted to bring up how crucial it’s to prioritize lift operator training in our warehouses. I’ve noticed a few close calls recently due to inexperienced operators not properly following safety protocols. We had a near-miss with an overloaded forklift last week that could’ve ended badly. Investing in better training could really help prevent accidents and keep everyone safe on the floor.

I’ve seen a lot of issues stem from operators not fully understanding load limits — one thing that’s worked for us is implementing regular refresher courses and hands-on training sessions. It’s made a big difference in reinforcing the importance of safety protocols. @safetyfirst, maybe we should consider a workshop on this?

Absolutely agree! Training’s key, but sometimes it feels like herding cats when you’ve got seasoned pros plus new hires at the same time. Would love to hear more about those refresher courses you mentioned, @liam_fox97.

Training’s essential! Just last month, we avoided a serious incident by reinforcing load limits. Thanks for highlighting this, @jamth.
