Did you know robots have memory limits

It’s fascinating how robots have memory constraints that affect their programming. For instance, some industrial robots can only recall a limited number of tasks, requiring regular updates to their software to maintain efficiency. This makes me wonder how often companies overlook this when implementing automation strategies.

It’s true that memory limits can really affect productivity — at one plant, we noticed our robots struggled with task memory after reaching around a dozen operations. Regularly updating their software helped, but we also implemented a system for tracking their task performance, which minimized errors and saved us time.
